Getting to Italy
UK/USA to FCO ROME
An alternative flight route is to Rome (FCO): if you are traveling through Rome, you should research trains to get to Naples or Salerno, which are common transfer points to the Amalfi Coast. Once in Naples or Salerno, the Amalfi Coast is accessible by private transfer, ferry or bus.
Note: When arriving in Fiumicino (FCO) airport, you will have to reach ROMA TERMINI station first (the main station in Roma), since the airport does not offer a direct train to Naples/Salerno. Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Roma Termini are connected by the Leonardo Express Train shuttle service, very convenient. The shuttles depart every 15-30 minutes, and the ride lasts around 35 minutes. It costs 14,00€.
ROME to NAPLES
Roma Termini is at one/two-hour train ride to Naples, which is located north of the Amalfi Coast, where you will get off and take a transfer to Ravello. The main train station in Naples is NAPOLI CENTRALE (where speed trains arrive and depart). The cost of a ride is between 20 and 40€.
ROME to SALERNO
Alternatively, you can purchase a train ticket to Salerno, which is located southeast of the Amalfi Coast. Salerno is at two/three and a half-hour train ride from Rome, depending on the type of train you take. The cost of a ride is between 20 and 60€.
Note: Tickets must be purchased through the official railway company in Italy, TrenItali . We recommend purchasing tickets in advance because generally there are early bird offers.

If you plan to start off your trip with our wedding, please fly to Naples (NAP). From Naples, you may take a one-hour taxi to Ravello. Please contact our wedding planner for private transfer assistance in-advance of your travels.
